UK Universities Top Rankings in European League Table

When making the decision whether to apply to university or not, the first question most people ask themselves is: should I stay close to home, or should I venture out?

Here at Purple Frog, we are proud to have offices in Bristol (#23), Nottingham (#68) and Birmingham (#53), all of which have Universities in the top 100 league table for Europe! The latest table, from The Times Higher Education, showed that Universities in the UK are among the best in Europe taking up a quarter of the table, with 7 out of the top 10 in the UK. The data collected positioned University of Cambridge, University of Oxford and Imperial College London, at the top of the table.

Europe is home to many of the world’s oldest and most prestigious universities and many of the most exciting and attractive cities! With a long history of pioneering in higher education, The World University Rankings measure the different institutions by their teaching environment, research environment, citations (research influence), industry outcome and international outlook.

Everyone has different reasons for going off to University to further their chance of getting that dream job, but the experience also enables you to spread your wings and gain more independence in a new environment! As well as making new friends, you will become more mature and self-sufficient, which will be helpful for when you enter the world of full-time work and in your personal life.
