Tenants

The UK governments 'right to rent'  scheme puts the onus on landlords and lettings agents to prove that all tenants have a right to rent in the UK.

Citizens of EEC countries (listed below) including the UK have an automatic right to rent in the UK.

We require a copy of a passport and proof of your address if you live in one of the UK or any of the following countries.

EEC Countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK

Proof of address: This can be any letter from a utility company, university, phone company, or bank statement.

Tenants from outside of the EEC:

We will need to see your passport and a visa allowing you to reside in the UK. We will also require proof of your home address.

Guarantors

We require identity documents from guarantors to verify their identity and address. Guarantors can provide the documents following either option 1 or 2 below.

Option 1: UK Driving Licence photo card

Option 2: One item from both list below:

List 1: passport / paper driving licence / birth certificate
AND
List 2: proof of address - council letter / bank letter / utility letter / phone bill
