Important changes at the top of Purple Frog

It has been a busy year so far at Purple Frog Group HQ. It feels a long time since the festive season break!

With properties continuing to let for the next academic year, the trend this ‘season’ appears to be less rush, which we believe is as a result of the ever-increasing importance of the winter exam period. Including utilities in rent has been well received and is really moving forward the student experience to be as effortless as possible.

We also hope to roll out 500mb broadband in the coming months. This will, once again, give Purple Frog clients cutting edge service for their tenants.

We are writing to you today to update you on some important changes within Purple Frog Group.

Having co-founded Purple Frog in late 2006 with Patrick, Greg has recently decided to focus solely on student property development and investment, with Patrick remaining as Purple Frog Group CEO and sole owner, effective from March 2019.

Pat & Greg: 12 years together. Now it’s time for new opportunities.

It has been an unforgettable 12 years. We have grown a business from our mobile phones in our student bedrooms (our very first client, Kevin, remains one to this day), to a company letting over 4500 HMO and PBSA bedrooms across Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham and Cardiff each year, with a well-established and respected brand.

While more recently less ‘front line’, Greg has been instrumental in growing and developing Purple Frog over the years. Working hard in the background with Patrick on innovation (for example our market leading Virgin Media partnership, securing 350mb broadband), marketing, business growth and supplier contracts.

Over the last three years, Greg and Patrick have established a successful student property development and investment business, under Greg’s leadership. Greg will be leaving Purple Frog Group to focus on this business, delivering new quality PBSA and HMO accommodation across multiple cities.

Greg will remain a friend and client of the business and is excited both for his future ventures and for Patrick to continue to deliver the best student experience for your tenants and to help grow and hone the Purple Frog legacy.
