hello! Many parents contact us with questions so we thought we'd put together a page with the most commonly asked topics. guarantor forms As most young people have not been able to establish a credit history or references from previous addresses we ask that they have their obligations guaranteed by their parents. All tenants must have their obligations guaranteed before they can move into a property. Guarantors should read the contract which they are guaranteeing before they sign the agreement. The tenants’ obligations include but are not limited to payment of rent and paying for any wilful damage caused to the property or any furniture provided by the landlord. The contract is joint so each tenant is responsible for their obligations and those of every other tenant; this obligation however is not passed on to you. This means that you are only guaranteeing an individual tenants rent and damage liability. All tenants will have guarantors guaranteeing the same obligation. other questions?
