Purple Frog joins client money protection scheme

You may have noticed that a logo for CMP has appeared around the website. This is because Purple Frog is now certified with Client Money Protect (CMP) – a client money protection scheme. This means that money we hold for clients and tenants is safeguarded against misappropriation.

Purple Frog’s membership of CMP means that clients’ money that we hold is protected

CMP is an independent body which provides protection for clients’ money while it is being held by Purple Frog. It insures that, in the extremely unlikely event that we misappropriate that money, you have an independent body to help you retrieve that sum.

Industry best practice is for letting agents to join a client money protection scheme. Part of our commitment to all of our clients and tenants is that always act in a fair and transparent way. Membership of a scheme is voluntary, although it is possible there will be a change in legislation to make membership of such a scheme mandatory.

At Purple Frog, we always work hard to make sure we abide by best practice. It’s an important part of our philosophy that all of our clients and tenants know they are protected and that we are working for their best interests. That’s why we always stay ahead of the curve – especially here your interests are concerned.

Although it is Purple Frog who are members, the CMP does not act on our behalf.

For more details about the services we offer clients, see our page for landlords with student property, or call your local branch to speak to an account manager.
